REGENERATIVE GROWING
We are a small, but strong flower farming operation. Staying small allows us to grow in ways that leave the land better than we found it. All of our flowers are grown by hand, in permanent no-till beds, without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. We welcome indigenous microbes and pollinators as collaborators. We know that the most beautiful and resilient flowers are grown in healthy soil.
SUSTAINABLE FLORISTRY
Traditional floristry and commercially grown flowers have a dark side. Most flowers you might find in a grocery store or flower shop are grown outside of the US and flown to us in large refrigerated containers. These flowers are grown and treated with harmful chemicals to preserve their longevity. Flowers from afar come with an immense carbon footprint. Locally grown flowers offer consumers a fresher, safer, and longer lasting floral experience.
FIRST GENERATION FARMER
Secure and affordable access to land is a major hurdle for new, and experienced farmers alike. We grow on two small plots of borrowed land in Great Barrington, MA. Our flowers are possible, in part, because of the generosity of local landowners. Buying your flowers from us supports a striving, small farm in our community.
